WELCOME TO THE ELLISON HELMSMAN FOUNDATION
We are a Texas 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on 4 key services areas selected specifically to have broad impact on the local communities in which Ellison Helmsman Inc, the for-profit company works. We use the body of knowledge created by the for-profit company to provide training, education, and support for the community.
OUR 4 PILLARS OF SERVICE
community education programs
Using the knowledge accumulated in the Ellison Helmsman method for strategic growth, we facilitate community education programs available for free to the public in the communities we serve. We present on topics including citizenship, financial management, budgeting, relationship building, career development, and more. Click here to learn more
SMALL BUSINESS INCUBATORS
Small business is the cornerstone of the economy and the pathway to success for so many people, yet starting and growing a small business is one of the most challenging endeavors in life. While the for-profit company has limitations that dictate the fees it must charge for business development consulting, the non-profit provides an alternative for entrepreneurs and small business owners in local communities. NON-PROFIT DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
Just like growing a small business, running a successful non-profit organization is inherently fraught with challenge. It is even more challenging in light of the stricter requirements for management and reporting. We are so proud of the charitable work that is done in the communities we serve, and through the Foundation we provide access to affordable non-profit development support including support in formation, management, reporting, marketing, fundraising, and community engagement.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATION
Organizations are created to make good happen but it is the people that do the good. An inherent and constant challenge for communities is identifying and coordinating the volunteer resources necessary to make local charitable events smooth and successful. By maintaining a volunteer coordination program, the Foundation can assure that any cause has the people it needs to do the good that needs to be done when it needs to be done.
