FIRM HISTORY

Ellison Helmsman was founded in 2016 in Midland, Texas, by current CEO Josh Henderson, who is a licensed Texas attorney. The company rose from his career in managing multi-million dollar organizations, including large personal injury law firms and oil and gas-related businesses.

Headquarters were moved to Corpus Christi in 2019. The company is focused on expansion throughout Texas, the United States, and outside the U.S. and is actively forming professional connections across the globe.

In 2022, The Ellison Helmsman Foundation was formed to parallel the activities of the for-profit company. The non-profit focuses on community education, small business incubator programs, non-profit development, and volunteer coordination. Utilizing access to the Ellison Helmsman methodology and support from the for-profit company, the non-profit can serve a wider segment of the population who do not have the means to privately retain the services of the company.
